Black Friday marks the seventh anniversary at Pittsburgh’s Maggie’s Farm Rum and the distillery is celebrating with FIVE different releases.
And it isn’t just rum being released this year. Maggie’s Farm is releasing two eau de vie-style brandies (pear and blueberry), two rums (single-barrel and vanilla flavored), plus the seasonal favorite, Peppermint Coffee Liqueur.
The brandies are both fermented from recent farm pressings and crafted to retain as much fruit flavor and aroma as possible. 375 ml bottles of the pear brandy and blueberry brandy are available for curbside pickup or shipping across Pennsylvania.

Boardroom’s family recipe blends spices and wildflower honey with the nutty liqueur. The 56 proof spirit is $39.99 per bottle and is available for pickup, local delivery and shipping across Pennsylvania. Get a tasty bottle for the holidays. Two if you have problems with sharing.

One of the best things about craft spirits is seeing how releases change over time. And has the industry gets beyond the baby stage, the changes can be dramatic. It’s what makes Rowhouse Spirits’ four-year old brandy such a worthwhile spirit to seek out. Distiller Dean Browne is releasing a four-year old version of his PA Brandy made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Quantities will be extremely limited.
Look for the brandy at Browne’s Frankford Avenue distillery in Kensington.
